Struggling Manchester United again failed to make the top four spot as they were held by Southampton. A goal from Che Adams was enough to seal a draw for the saints.
Manchester united once again showed a shallow performance as Che Adams scored an early second half goal to the disappointment of United fans.
Jadon Sancho made his first premier league strike at old Trafford stadium, but the strike was of no use as Che Adams second half goal cancelled out United victory.
The draw makes it the fourth game out of six total matches that United have failed to secure a win, taking them out of champions league position.
United almost got a winner courtesy of Harry Maguire, but a fine save from goalkeeper Fraser Forster in Injury time, denied the hosts of late celebrations.

"A very good first half", said Ragnick.
"We did all the things we intended to do with the counter-attacks and the deep runs. We created, scored a great goal".
"At the end of the first half we didn't do those things any more and then in the second we lost a bit of shape".
