Tennis star, Emma Raducanu wins the BBC sport personality of the year.
The teenager stunned the world after winning the US Open grand slam and reaching the fourth round at Wimbledon.
while giving a speech Raducanu told BBC "it's such an honour to be nominated, to win it is pretty amazing".
"I am really humbled to join the amazing past winners".
England won the team of the year while Gareth Southgate won the coach of the year award.
Skateboarder Sky Brown won the young sport personality of the year while Arsenal and Scotland women defender Jennifer Beattie won the Rollason award for raising awareness on breast cancer after being diagnosed with the illness but never quit playing for both club and country.
Meanwhile four time world olympian Simeone Biles won the lifetime achievement award.
Racheal Blackmore was voted world sport star of the year. The Irish jockey is the first woman to win the champion hurdle at Cheltenham.
